About Us

Bali Celebes Dive

Bali, an island with an area of 5,632.86 square kilometers, divided into 9 districts which are sub-divided into 51 sub districts, 565 villages, and 79 local political districts. Three islands nearby, Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan, are also part of Bali Province. The fragrance of the island, which has made the island well known all over the world, is a mixture of perfect composition of hospitality offered by its people, strong and authentic culture, and the magnificent beauty of its nature. The little island, lays between Java and Lombok, is not only blessed with such a unique culture but a stretch of coastline sparkling around the island. The picture of the coastal area vary from one side to another side, some parts boast white sand beach while at another part the black sand sparkling. The southern part stands strongly above the range of cliffs while some parts in the western tip are mangrove forest. Bali is beautifully surrounded by water, Indian Ocean in the south, Bali Sea in the north, Lombok Strait in the east and Bali Strait in the west. Not only famous as a tourist destination, Bali is also popularly known as on of the world’s best diving destinations. Divers from all over the world have approved that Bali’s underwater world is extravagance. Plethora of fishes and various types of corals live and grows on variety of seabed that the island’s underwater topography has to offer. Diving in Bali is vary in type, challenge and access: diver can go for shore diving, boat diving, go deeper diving at drop off or wall, exploring ship wrecks, enjoying the exquisite beauty of house reef, pump up the adrenaline through drift dive, try out your vision during night dive or muck dive. Bali is also the destination where many dive sites are available for diver from beginner level to experience. Divers generally arrive in Bali almost along the year but the number increases during June to September. Those months the Ocean Sunfish can be seen sunbathing in the Nusa Penida water, divers call those months as the Molamola season. Another divers favorite site is the most famous US Liberty Shipwreck in Tulamben.Up at dawn and dive the water before sunrise, you may encounter the schooling Bump-Head Parrot fish hovering by the shipwreck.

Professionally recognized as the Open Water Diver course, it is the entry-level autonomous diver certification for recreational scuba diving. All recreational diver training agencies offer this entry-level course that includes knowledge development (theory), confined water dives (also known as practical training at a limited depth), and open water dives (the experience).

Professionally recognized as Advanced Open Water Diver course, this scuba diving certification is a program that requires training and dive experience based on prerequisites of specific recreational diver training agencies.

The Rescue Diver certification course is provided by several diver training agencies that emphasizes on the responsibility of a diver in need, emergency response, and diver rescue. Following the Advanced Open Water Diver course, rescue diver certification is mostly treated as a specialty course than a mainstream certification. However, it is still opted by many dive training agencies in the certification structure.

A certified dive instructor is an individual who trains other aspiring underwater divers. The title specializes in demonstrating and engaging discussions with an individual student or in groups about safe scuba diving practices in order for them to feel confident in basic diving skills.
